Don't always agree with JP, but I certainly align with the ideas
- that you should raise your kids to exist in the world as it is (don't be overly protective)
- allow them to fail (and learn)
- set guidelines and enforce them
Some of it seems common sense, but see way too many parents that are still protecting their kids into their 20's.
I actually have a family friend that wants her 30 year old, married daughter to text her goodnight? wtf? when does that end?
