aided us during that 20 year conflict (the safe removal of U.S. forces was never in question)...Donald Trump tried to exit before Biden took office without ANY plan to help those people...moreover, he put a halt to Special Visas that take many months to get approval...in 2017!...his (Trump's) final deal was for an exit in May...just 4 months after Biden's inauguration. That Biden was able to remove over 125,000 Afghanis by the end of August is a testament to the rallying of allies, transportation providers and U.S. bureaucratic functionaries...any honest assessment should acknowledge the incredibly bad hand that Biden was dealt...there never was a 'perfect outcome' in those cards.
If you truly want to vent frustration over the treatment of friendly Afghanis...send it all to Mar-a-Lago.
