text on Civil Law. People today are using religious documents created by persons in cultures thousands of years ago to justify opinions that modern understanding no longer supports. I am not "anti-Bible", but we don't live in a "Chapter and Verse" world...there is a 'Great Deal' of "Nuance" that needs to be absorbed and discerned...ergo, the VAST amount of theology writings and discussions that are on-going...and which we should engage in ourselves when it comes to issues like "Homosexuality" and "Abortion"...hopefully, you agree and are willing to open your mind as true seekers of truth are compelled to do.
Oh, and don't try to slap any labels on me...that's just an attempt to fallaciously seize the 'high ground'...let's just discuss these issues honestly and in as scholarly a fashion as possible.
