Some cities have very many private high schools, and the Jesuit schools do not always cater to rich kids only. I thought he went to a Jesuit high school.
I went to a "college prep" school. One kid, from a wealthy family, drove a Mercedes coup to school every day, so people could have called us a rich school. But I drove a 10 year old station wagon, and before a party one time, I picked up a friend in a very poor part of town...poor enough to make me wonder what I'd gotten into in agreeing to pick him up...if his house had 2 bedrooms, I don't know how they fit it in. Anyway, we had a true cross section of the population, regardless of our stereotype.
