I’m talking about permanent legislation.
Interestingly, Mitch McConnel gave a great history lesson on the topic. It was a simple majority for our entire existence up until H W Bush, and then back again after Harry Reid.
I’m not decided on the issue, but I do know that what goes around comes around, and it’s easier for one side to accept a change after benefiting rather than after feeling the sting, but it might be the only chance you will get. What say you if you had the power to make it so or not?
