I was taken aback by Kavanaugh's overreaction in front of the Senate. I felt it that he did lose it a bit, and I wished at the time that a different nominee had been offered. I could also understand his outrage, but he should have composed himself and responded as if he were above it. Scalia would have been upset, but would have sliced up the crazed harpies with a sly smile and words they probably would not have understood. Kavanaugh is quite apparently no Scalia... in terms of temperament or wit. But so what? He will support largely conservative opinions, which is why he was nominated. If a more temperate conservative had been nominated we would have gotten the exact same opinions. I feel that we need to chilax and enjoy living. On a relative timescale the world's injustices are increasingly di minimis.
