Wanting America to move ahead (or being concerned about it slowing down) on the world economic and political stage is not xenophobia. Wanting to enforce laws is not xenophobia. Wanting to make sure that American workers are not undermined is not xenophobia.
Were we xenophobic during the Cold War, because we opposed the Soviet Union? Of course not, but the way you use that word could be applied to our acts in the Cold War.
Use of that word is, dare I say, even more comical than most uses of the word "racism" these days. Total nonsense.
