I prefer a more measured approach. Strongly believe the Church is its people. Tons of great priests and pastors. No need to confuse common predators disguised as priests with disciples of Jesus. Give them and the Church a chance to listen.
As to reform, yes — transparency and accountability. But, I am also OK with bolder reform. Less pomp and circumstance. Focus on quality priests at the parish level. The best and the brightest, so long as they are true disciples of Christ. Women priests. Gay priests. Married priests. All worthy of a conversation.
