Groupthink and AOC vs Trump.

Both parties are guilty of this... our politicians really are just weather vanes whose obsession is staying in office. This was not a serious problem so long as the dominant theme for the party's majority was within the standard of deviation for main stream opinions. However, it's not an exaggeration to state that both AOC's and Trump's respective weltanschauung are at serious variance with the norm. Sadly, because both are supported by enormous twitter armies, no one in their parties dares to challenge the absurdity of what they espouse.
