My son worked his way up the ranks from patrol officer to detective to state police to now a Federal agent. Law enforcement will always get the benefit of the doubt from me. BUT, even if the officer's actions were not the cause of death, the optics looked terrible. Nonchalant kneeling, with hands in pocket, is a really bad look on an incapacitated person. Especially during these times. Was it necessary force or not? I don't know. I'm thinking the jury will go the OJ route, knowing they have to go back to their neighborhoods, with their names out there. Anyone else have something to add?
