using your points of contention...
>wrt COVID, the goal is to turn the 'pandemic' into an 'endemic' health situation that keeps citizens out of our hospitals and ICUs...by now everyone knows that vaccination is the key...it undeniably accomplishes that aim...however, after a year of appeals to voluntary vaccination, tens of millions of Americans refuse to do the right thing...endangering their own lives and unduly stressing our HC systems, which ends up denying services to the vast majority who have gotten vaccinated....mandates are the most effective means of closing that gap now, yet the SCOTUS can't seem to appreciate the value of this simple, safe and effective temporary measure...go figure....not Biden's fault that they can approve it for one segment of our society (Health Dare), but no other>
>The recent immigration surges at our southern border have been caused by upheavals in Central America and Haiti...that is the "Root Cause" of our problem, so the proper thing to do is find ways to keep those people from having to flee their homes and march hundreds, if not thousands, of miles in search of the best opportunity they could envision...the USA. To that end, Biden has Kamala Harris working on that effort, and she's making progress in ways that were not taken previously...as shown in this link...

>Given that our COVID ICUs are upwards of 98% populated with Unvaccinated people...and we still have nearly 30M adults in that category...we won't reach "Endemic" status until they've either gotten vaccinated, or infected...without mandates and other 'forceful' measures (e.g. denial of service w/o vaccination), it will only take longer for us to achieve that objective...hopefully, without a new variant occurring in the interim.
>Considering that "Afghanistan" was ALL ABOUT getting Afghanis who aided the U.S. out of there, Biden did a phenomenal job of allowing over 120,000 to leave, along with 6,000 u.S. citizens. It shouldn't be forgotten that the preceding President had no plan for the evacuation of Afghanis...he even shut down the process for granting Special Visas that normally takes a year to complete, so that the Biden administration had to start from ground zero with only a few months (extended from May 1st to August 31st) to play with....bottom line...Trump would not have removed ANY friendly Afghanis...that would have been a true debacle.
>Our current inflationary issues IMO, stem from the pandemic...ideally, once we reach the "Endemic Stage" we should see a decrease...provided the public doesn't "build in" inflationary expectations...clearly, the #1 task is to get COVID under control...ergo, the mandates, etc...so many benefits from vaxxing...yet so many opposing it...have to wonder why.
>It's a long way until 2024...once COVID becomes an "Endemic" virus, those poll numbers will rise substantially...that is the "root cause" of today's numbers IMO...
>Half the country is being told Biden has dementia by his political opponents...no surprise there...yet, progress is being made...see the attached link, as well as this one...

>Oh, yeah...that Infrastructure Bill...even Republicans who wouldn't be caught dead voting for it are crowing about in their home states...it was a monumental piece of legislation that was LONG OVERDUE...something that the previous administration couldn't seem to accomplish when clearly it has strong bi-partisan support...how did it not happen in the four prior years?...talk about a Debacle ;-).
Hope you take the time, as an objective American voter, to read the links...if only to understand both sides of the issues.
