Embarrassing. He finally came out and said it. Why avoid it in the first place if you are going to say it anyway?
I could give him political credit, and assume he was just trying to give a soundbite that the media could take out of context, but it made him look like he was trying to hide that, as if it weren't a matter of record. In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it made me wonder about his sense. He should know how to be on the stand.
