The impact of Medicare-for-all would be a transfer of wealth from caucasians to people of color

Whites overwhelmingly depend on private health insurance through their employers. By contrast, African Americans and Latinos have far less coverage through the private health insurance market. Switching to a government funded and run system, whites would effectively be paying for the health insurance of people of color AND would experience a severe diminution in the quality of their own care. PLUS, people of color would have less motivation to seek employment in the private market. Of course, even pointing all this out could be considered racist.
