The mental contortions here and elsewhere to paint this as unusual behavior are expected, but also wholly unhelpful. The behavior referenced by WCF are features of the day-to-day life of cops in our cities, and pretending that it's uncommon, or is just as apt to be seen from any group in poverty, is just that...pretending. And the more that we play these sorts of games, the more it all festers, and the more likely we are to have people with less impulse control lash out in anger.
