This kind of reminds me of one of my China colleagues telling me that Taiwan is a part of China. I'm thinking, "Try putting some Chinese infantry ashore, and then we shall see if Taiwan is part of China." Opposite case, obviously. But, it points out that a country is not always a country is not always a country. Politicians are worse than lawyers.
