And I commented on Obama Derangement Syndrome when the Right obsessed about him. I guess there are things that entertain me, which don't entertain many of you. I find these endless, "Did you hear what Trump said?!?" threads as interesting as a Maytag owner's manual. I don't get how you guys find it compelling enough to post seven days a week, multiple times per day about whatever stupid thing he's said or tweeted. Jim seems to think that by posting on the UHND message board, he's part of some "resistance" to Trump. He's not. Maybe it's therapeutic for him?
More often than not, the comments or tweets that have folks here and elsewhere outraged don't even involve policy. You'll also note how infrequently the dire predictions made by those who obsess over him ever come to fruition. Does that ever give you pause? There have been so many of those predictions here and elsewhere, yet so few of them turn into the forecasted disasters. As another year goes by, it grows more difficult to get people to believe in those predictions. For you and I, and most everyone else, and for most Americans, life isn't significantly different than it was under the last guy, nor the guy before him. Too many people attribute too many things to whomever is in the White House. Honestly, he doesn't have as much power as many imagine he does, and the only way he has much power over them is when they choose to give him that power, as we see on this forum, with a few individuals.
