Leave Biden alone! He should be applauded for his insight and humility, not persecuted.
I just heard the greatest defense of Biden’s quid pro quo billion dollar withholding from Ukraine, and if true Biden deserves no criticism. He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Apparently, Biden only withheld the money until the prosecutor was fired because the prosecutor was corrupt.
Can you image the United States ever giving money to countries with corrupt individuals? Forget the fact that the money was approved by the people’s representatives in the United States, if the previous administration’s officials want something done it gets done.
As far as I’m concerned, Biden was right. His only mistake was being too humble about it. All he did was make sure we did not give our hard-earned American dollars to a country with corrupt officials and prosecutors and I’m sure he had the evidence this was done right.
All he needs to do is release all of his conversations with and regarding the Ukraine and other countries he has dealt with so that the American people can judge for themselves. There are so many lies traveling around out there in the media these days. If you listen to some outlets you would think that this prosecutor in question was the only one Biden was concerned about. If Biden wants to withhold U.S. funds because he wants to make sure a country’s prosecutors are not corrupt don’t you think he has enough intelligence to vet and confirm that all of the country’s prosecutors are honorable. Otherwise, he runs the risk of people thinking he only targeted just one, and the one who just happens to be involved in investigating his own son. That would not only be “sleepy”, it would be monumentally stupid.
I know that the Ukraine is a small country, but I’m sure they have more than two or three prosecutors and government officials, the odds of Biden stumbling upon the one involved with his son is just too astronomical. All Biden needs to do is just release the documents confirming the vetting of all others before he made his threat and this case would be closed. We are not all dumb enough to distrust a Biden, or anyone else from our previous administration.
In the end, Biden would have taught us all valuable lessons. Indeed, he would teach us lessons in civics we never knew we didn’t know. It is apparently the job of our U.S. Executive branch to use every means to dictate and ensure citizens of other countries meet high ethical standards, but it is apparently a grave transgression for the current U.S. Executive branch to seek help in investigating corruption of its own citizens. The president is no longer Commander in Chief charged with enforcing our laws, it is more important for him to enforce the laws of others.
In the United States it is a crime to investigate something someone did, but it is apparently not a crime to investigate something someone did not do.
Let’s thank Biden and the Democratic Party for teaching us that.
Now let’s just wait on all those vetting documents from Biden.
Thank you,
Mr. Kalc, South Bend, Indiana
