majority of this country's voters IMO don't want what the GOP 'stands for' right now....btw, since the Dems have won the popular vote in most of the recent Presidential elections with different candidates, and several states turned against Trump in 2020, the trend is clear...the GOP needs to re-define itself, or it's going to be more of the same in the WH....at the state and local lever, the party will have to rely on gerrymandering and voter suppression to hold on to the House and Senate...if the GOP really had the key to Independents' hearts and minds, they wouldn't need to be pulling all these voting rights tricks right now.
btw, you may think only in "negative" terms, but the Independents truly just want a candidate who can move the ball forward, and right now, they know a Trump follower can't...so it's up to the GOP to come up with someone who appeals to that block of voters...focus on those folks...not me..........oh, and "Dump Trump" ASAP...with his legal and financial woes about to be disclosed for all to see, he'll drag the party down if they don't categorically disown him...DeSantis is trying, but not hard enough, apparently.
