"Although the reduction in polling places has taken place across racial lines, it has primarily caused long lines in nonwhite neighborhoods where voter registration has surged and more residents cast ballots in person on Election Day."
The counties in Georgia set up polling places, they get closed due to lack of turnout or staffing, and if you take the above into account, add a pandemic with social distancing requirements, you get a picture of a huge line that would have been shorter without pandemic measures in place and a surge of voters turning out to vote.
Edit to add: 86% of driving age residents in Georgia have a driver's license, which is valid ID to vote with. Requiring ID and calling it the return of Jim Crow is pure race baiting.
