When Trump took office, Iran (compliant w/ deal) was 15 years away from having enough fuel to develop a nuclear bomb. Now, with Trump allowing them to roam free, they are 5 months away.
The United States may be forced out of Iraq -- another goal of Suleimani, and making it tougher for US to support our efforts in Syria.
The reformers in Iran now stand united with the hardliners. Well done, Trump.
The diplomatic path forward is now more difficult, especially as allies and other signatories have been left scrambling trying to keep the deal alive. Rational actors like stability. [Note the Iranian attacks + increase in tensions since the US withdraw]
All of the above gives North Korea leverage.
I prefer smart thoughtful strategy in Iran vs reckless smack talkin' aimlessness.
