It is precisely your line of thinking that has led to the current shitshow. We've seen ominous predictions galore for the past five decades+, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, they never come to fruition.

But it's the hysterical climate crowd that is guided by your exact point - we have to do something! Never mind the cure may be far worse than the illness. Just do something! We're all gonna die!
