One would assume that given this data, it would be premature to end mask mandates if they really worked and if you were “following the science”. One would think his state would wait to at least see if this Thurs data show a sharp sudden disappearance of cases.
They know masks are a political move, not a medical one. The same can be found in the other states too.
I fully expect these numbers o recede, but they have not done so anywhere near to the point where you would issue a statewide mask mandate change if you really believed that they mattered and we’re not acting based on politics.
Normal procedure would be to at least wait for spike to show resolution, and not to encourage another spike. Thus, there is not the “changing circumstances” argument….certainly not yet.
