But when Stevie Vai tells you what Hendrix meant to him, well you’ve got to think he’s at least in the Top 200.
Malmstein, for example, is a helluva guitarist, so is John Petrucci and Tosin Abasi.
But most days I’d rather listen to JJ Cale.
He was a huge favorite of Clapton and Young as well.
Tastes vary. But Hendrix will stand the test of time.
