social institutions is a part of the problem, they were and are much of the problem. People who joined or were/are a part of the those
institutions create and foster divisions in society. That's why they begin in the first place. Hate for queer people, women are the lesser sex,
wealth and the disparity of economics. Dislike for other philosophies, color and so on. bigotry, discrimination and hate are baked into these institutions even though
they're not part of their doctrine.
I think the answer is quite simple. Trump appeals to the anger, hate, stupidity, and laziness in America and Americans. He was given a podium against 20 other candidates
who wouldn't have made the first cut in the D party of candidates and that was 22 strong. Jeb Bush was your best candidate and he was soft. Trump like Palin appealed
to the lowest in America and that's why they're popular. If Palin was a male, McCain would have been POTUS.
