Mendoza finance is excellent. Kudos to her, she must be a great student!
Couple thoughts on ROTC.
I was Army ROTC at ND and all of our kids were on ROTC scholarships (2 at ND). They chose Army because it was the easiest with majors (2 finance, 1 pre-med, 1 chemistry) I know things change year to year, however:
- Navy is typically strict with majors, and usually engineer heavy. She will want to confirm with the ROTC dep't on major right away... and might have to have already indicated that on her ROTC application? In any event, best to get this agreed at the start. If she starts in any other major she will never get to Mendoza and ROTC will be reluctant to let her change. Navy is great program with lot's of structure and summer commitments.
- The AF program will be more lenient with time, but as you say, I think ever more restrictive on majors.
That is awesome and good for her!
