There is not much that medical science has to offer (yet) as treatment for a patient which has contracted a virus, which is why we have vaccines, which are preventative, because treatments essentially don't exist. If we are relying on a treatment (like antibiotics for bacterial infections), I don't think we should be holding our breaths in the short term. Maybe though, you mean a vaccine development, which will buoy the economy by it being announced and implemented. If that is what you mean, then I agree.
