Boy, I sure do have a bunch of them on my Facebook feed. But the CDC never said to wear them "all the time" when in public. How their recommendation got twisted into that is a lesson in politicians, businesses and the public lack basic comprehension skills. From its website: "CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures difficult to maintain."
From WHO's website: "If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with COVID-19. Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing."
Finally, Eli Perencevich, a professor of medicine and epidemiology at the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine, says, “The average healthy person does not need to have a mask, and they shouldn’t be wearing masks. There’s no evidence that wearing masks on healthy people will protect them."
