Also, the link's argument is pretty weak. The reason the mid-range shot is not employed anymore is b/c no one can do it as efficiently as Jordan could. He was so good at it, that for him, it was a good shot. The problem is for all other players (other than maybe Larry Bird or Kevin Durant), it's not a good shot.
