as researchers learn more... and it should.
It is not easy to follow the changing advice:
- Stay in.. no wait get out in the fresh air Vit D
- No need to wear a mask... no wait, wear a mask
- It is spread by non-symptomatic... or maybe not, might just be sick super-spreaders?
... and I am not blaming anyone. We will get better advice as the medical community learns more and I will have a hard time with anyone telling we know definitively what the answer is for some time. Your last thoughts are a logical approach without perfect data.
- wash your hands
- be respectful of distance
- limit indoor activities with large groups
- wear a mask (although not sure this protects you as much as protects others if you are sick?... again this story has evolved)
and if you are personally vulnerable, protect yourself. Do not rely on the population to adopt measures to protect you or your loved ones ...
Stay safe
