Frank and Chris - Do you give Trump credit for keeping the mortality rate low in the US for COVID?

At present, we have as many new cases per day than Wuhan had total.

My post was about mortality rate, not total cases.

We are also testing more per capita than any country in the EU outside of the UK.

We have more case because of both testing and community spread. That’s why the death figure is lower

I'm just pointing out 1 known reason why our totals are higher. The truth is....

The point is we should not be spiking these new cases if the reopening was handled properly.

It is a pandemic. Not about “spin” or “agenda.” Our numbers are disgraceful.

How did Trump do it, in your estimation?

Do you think it's a coincidence that the the rise in new cases started shortly after the protests?
-

No it’s not a coincidence that it started in places with aggressive reopenings and/or protests.

It seems extremely unlikely that the death rate will increase. More likely to fall.

No. He has nothing to deserve credit for that. Fortunately for everyone, at least for now the group
