Beyond the first amendment, I'd say private property rights are about as fundamental to the US as anything. The minute the government starts to dictate what I have to wear in a private establishment is the minute I get worried. I'm fine if an establishment declares its own rules. Lord knows I've already walked out of a few business. The minute the government tells me I have to lift weights in a mask is the minute I say overreach.
