I toyed with the idea of writing something like, "A Beginner's Guide to Wokeness" or something like that, but these folks have devoted even more time to understanding this new religion than I have and they also had the ability and cajones to get their fake research published in academic journals. Lindsay and Pluckrose now have a book out, Cynical Theories: How Activist Scholarship Made Everything about Race, Gender, and Identity―and Why This Harms Everybody, so they have this covered. Lindsay, in particular, has just dug into this religion completely and he does terrific analysis of it through a religious prism.
Check out this interview he did, at least part of it. Right off the bat, he talks about all the emails he receives, including ones from men and women talking about what has happened in their marriages when their spouses become born again into Wokeness. Most people who don't pay attention, wouldn't believe something like this is happening, but among young, upper middle class urbanites, these cultish behaviors and beliefs are proliferating. I'm not kidding, you will start to hear cases of parents placing their kids into new "therapies" because they have "white supremacist beliefs." You will hear of a case or two of parents disowning their kids because they refuse to give up "white supremacist" beliefs. As it stands now, we've already long had people within this religion telling believers to disown family members or friends who are "problematic" in their "white supremacy" or in their refusals to accept their "privilege."
