......if we really want to try to do this right, then N95's, gloves, faceshileds, training in sterile technique for the public, and give up a lot of freedoms.
Not sure if you realize, but the virus exits the body in ALL secretions. Shared public restrooms?....in reality, a bad idea. Large shopping centers where people can all go at the same time? - Bad idea. Close proximity in a closed room to someone with gas? A risk.
Now, I don't advocate for draconian measures because I know that this cure would be far worse than the disease for a virus with this death rate. I also know that we can't really stop this virus from spreading....take a look at Hawaii which is isolated, totally shut down and masked up, yet having a terrible outbreak.
The original stories on this was the real truth. All we can truly hope to accomplish is to flatten the curve.
There are many things in life that can kill us, and I don't wish to live in fear. I respect others fear and will wear a mask out of respect, but I don't believe for a minute that it is going to rescue us from exposure. Nor do I think that a 2 in a thousand chance of death or whatever it is at these days is much different than other risks I take like driving to Chicago. I'm on my toes, but i'm not stressing about that which i cannot control.
