I remember hearing a long discussion on NPR months ago about how the big outstanding question here was about "memory T cells."
Essentially: Anti-covid antibodies disappeared fast - but did the body's immune system learn how to make more when covid showed back up? Could these memory T cells make the right antibodies in the future?
If the answer is indeed yes, then immunity could last anywhere between years and forever.
Suck it, covid.
