I know of people who think Trump was coarsening American society, and voted against him primarily for that reason. Many of the reasons you offer against him are foolish: fake Russia stuff, tariffs are stupid (even though they protect manufacturing jobs), deficit (your candidate will be worse), covid (your candidate would have been worse), fake xenophobia accusations, "isolationism" (translate: not enough war) ... it just seems like you don't like him because he is mean.
When it comes down to policies, he was pretty strong. Many of the things you call stupid are still in the best interests of the average American citizen. Easy to be against those things sitting in your compound, running your own business. You are "the man." But, perhaps you could try to show some sympathy for the average American. I do admit that it is unfortunate that Trump's good policies are pushed by a person who is personally so dislikable. That cost him the election...and that will likely cost the country in the long run, more than having an ass as president would have cost us.
