And here is the point: It only happened because of what they perceive to be the reality.
You and I can debate the reality in an academic discussion...but what matters for the nation is what is perceived by those who are willing to get off of their couch and go do something.
I learned something last week: There are a lot of people who are upset like me...who perceive that the Left has stolen an election (or, at least tried to...it is not proven that they succeeded...it may be like the OJ case, where a guilty guy was being framed). BUT, those people have a fuse which is much, much shorter than mine. I was comfortably sitting on my couch watching the news of the Capitol Building...watching people who have the same concerns as I do, go hogwild regarding those concerns. At no time was I motivated to get out of my chair and do anything by the feeling that the Dems had stolen this election. So, the good news for me is that there are other people who are willing to act well before things get so bad that the authorities start putting families on my street in cages like Conor is looking forward to doing.
By the way, I answered your question. Perhaps I added it after you saw my initial post. I would encourage peaceful discourse, so I would definitely handle it in a better way than the Demcrats handled things last year with Antifa/BLM.
