a jet on a carrier in the middle of the night with a howling sleet storm blowing and a pitching deck of +/- 30 feet...amazing courage and skills, which will deservedly garner 'kudos' from all hands...yet everyone knows that it takes quite a bit more to command such a vessel, so I'm assuming that she did very well in all the other categories, including nuclear power training, seamanship, naval strategy, etc....plus, she is a "Naval Aviator"...maybe not experienced in "cat shots", but she's got her wings.
It's a signature event and I wish her the best..."Bravo Zulu!"
P.S. This will drive SRD and a couple of others nuts, but I've got a nephew who is a Navy Helo pilot, so I'm a bit biased in that regard.
