was your only objective...but, be that as it may...let's move on to the "laptop" issue...
...from my post on Mar. 23rd...
---------------------
"It matters not whether it was HB's laptop, or someone else's...if it was held by others bent on creating a political advantage for Donald Trump (think "Rudy Giuliani"), then we have the potential for a "dirty trick"...it all starts with what I understand to be termed the "chain of custody", "...
---------------------
This is the key point mentioned in the article that doesn't register with you...it's not the "Machine" (i.e. 'Laptop') that matters...it's the data files ON IT....in this case, there is clear EVIDENCE that OTHER PEOPLE INPUTTED data to the hard drive...not just Hunter Biden...here's another excerpt from the WaPo forensic analysis...
---------------------
"The security experts who examined the data for The Post struggled to reach definitive conclusions about the CONTENTS as a whole, including whether ALL OF IT originated from a single computer or could have been assembled from files from multiple computers and PUT on the "Portable" drive.""(emphasis mine)
---------------------
If this doesn't give you pause, consider this hypothetical situation....YOU somehow lose your laptop, or it's stolen in a robbery of your home...then the individual(s) in possession of that laptop decide to gain access to your unsecured data...place doctored messages and photos on it that are, shall we say, "Compromising"...in addition to the legitimate data that's already there..., and demand payment from you, or they will send it to your employer and others...leaving you to explain it all...after all it's YOUR LAPTOP. Conceptually, all of that could happen, if you were notable enough, and worth enough, to go through all the effort...this scenario includes actual elements of the "Hunter Biden Story"....in any event, I know that the WaPo forensic experts have serious questions about the authenticity of the whole story for these very same reasons...I'm feeling very good about my characterization and statements.
