Am I the only one nervous about "some" of our fan base's reaction to scheduling Tennessee State?

I don’t think the HBCU aspect has anything to do with anyone’s disappointment in this.

Seems like an unforced error.

I think it’s a dumb move.

Though I liked how ND had never dippped into the FCS pool, I see the reasoning here.

What's the reasoning here? Winning a title is the goal. This doesn't help.

Yes it does. It’s a warm-up game.

We play OSU and USC back to back after CMU. There are big jumps after each early game.

Then OSU, Southern Cal, Wake Forest, Clemson

The SCUM and OSU model: don’t play a real game until October.

ND will be mystified why there are no sell outs. Scheduling a practice game before a MAC opponent.

Baffling still will be meeting a proper team in a Bowl Game and getting nuked.

That’s the downside. I’m not paying $150/head to watch us schellack some 4th rate school

Basketball did the same thing on MLK Day. I’d have traded that game for another win in the tourney

"Some"? How but "more than many". But not the people that count.

Also he meant to say "FCS". Other than that...
