jakers, Baron, Ned, Tampa, et al believe Russia and other foreign bad actors have a First Amendment right to interfere in US elections (ala 2016) and that the United States should roll over and play dead, out of fear of becoming an Orwellian nation.
Perhaps they should educate themselves and read what the US Supreme Court said about whether foreign entities enjoy First Amendment protection in an opinion authored by Justice Kavanaugh.

My point is that if one believes in election integrity, it does not make sense to quickly label Homeland Security's endeavor to combat disinformation (perpetrated by foreign actors) as a bad thing.
And if one believes in national security, it does not make sense to quickly label Homeland Security's endeavor to defend ourselves from cyber warfare as a bad thing. See what is currently happening between Russia and Ukraine.
