I know you want to take this into more scolding of those who don't get vaccinated, but go back to the original question. The Great Fauci explained that we must continue to wear masks, even after we've been vaccinated, because we can't say for sure that we can't be reinfected at some point. Does that strike you as clear thinking? This is the sort of stuff that gives rise to all sorts of conspiratorial thinking. About a month ago, when the last people, aside from the teacher's unions, had to acknowledge that schools should reopen, Wolensky and the Great Fauci announced that while the science indeed indicates this, we must also take into account...wait for it...wait for it...the "lived experiences" of people, which meant that irrational and hysterical people should still have their judgments heavily weighted in this equation, to the point that their irrationality and hysteria can overrule the science.
Doesn't it make perfect sense to defer to experts like these?
