by definition "Disinformation"...all state medical boards are comprised of medical, legal and ethical persons of high standing that address many more issues than COVID disinformation...therefore, it is expected that the same rigor will be applied in those situations...to assume otherwise is to question the knowledge and ethics of the very members who have been protecting citizens for decades.
Yes, the vast majority of doctors are "Very Good"...however, it is also true that some are not, and that is why medical boards exist...and now, with the advent of instant access to "Disinformation", it is vitally important for them to ensure that it is not promoted by any licensed physicians.
The medical practitioners around the world haven't suddenly stopped applying their skills just because a new virus showed up...rather, what has happened is that a new political 'strain' has emerged, led by Donald Trump (e.g. "It's a Hoax"..."I always wanted to play it down"..."how about bleach?") who fostered ideas that were totally against solid medical knowledge, studies and evidence.
Doctors who are on the side of established, "Evidence Based" medical knowledge need never fear a medical board review...
