Ty's Reuters "fact" check on U.K. vaccine death rates is factually wrong. Here's the proof

I linked to U.K. government data showing people who were vaccinated against Covid were more likely to die from Covid than were the unvaccinated. Ty came back with a Reuters "fact" check saying that while it was true last September 1,272 out 1,521 Covid deaths in the 80+ age group (total population 3,375,400) were vaccinated, the rate of death for this age group was 156 per 100,000 unvaccinated vs. 49.5 per 100,000 fully vaccinated.

Someone at Reuters is flat-out lying. The "fact" check at the time said 59.5% were fully vaccinated and 64.9% had received one dose. Well, let's use the 64.9% figure to make this more favorable to the "fact" check and do some math. Even then, the death rate during that period was 58.1 per 100,000 vaccinated vs. 21 per 100,000 unvaccinated.

So Ty, how do you explain Reuters flat-out lying about this?
