an Infectious Disease Doc and a Pulmonary/Critical Care (i.e. ICU) Doc...and they are part of much larger organizations and cohorts with whom they communicate...I trust them...and they trust the vaccines...end of story.

We know for a fact that there is rampant misinformation being spread about, so it does not surprise me that you could have been sucked into that vortex...you don't have the luxury of first hand information that I do which can alleviate your concerns.

As for Dr. Malone...I "listened" to him as well...and listened to others who have been close to him...they explained their views of his work and his claims, and expressed their dismay that he has become almost a 'Pariah' within the scientific community...it happens.

Regarding the efficacy of our vaccines...you know that COVID-19 has mutated several times...possibly hundreds of times, with some notable variants (Delta and Omicron), and Omicron has become exceedingly transmissible, even to those who have been vaccinated and boosted...BUT, the primary function of a vaccine...i.e. to minimize severe outcomes...has remained very effective...I have an 80+ yr old friend with a few 'health issues' who just this week came down with COVID (increasing fever, dry cough, colorful sputum, fatigue)...but because he is vaxed and boosted, he's already getting better and participated in a Zoom call this afternoon. Had he not been vaxed/boosted, his story could very well be headed in the other direction.

With regard to 'Pharma' and your implied dirty dealing...a vax shot costs $15.00...hospital stays cost from $30,000 (non-complex) to $450,000 (complex)...'Pharma' is to be praised to the heavens for keeping costs DOWN.

COVID is still 'out there', so tell all your friends who haven't gotten vaccinated to do the smart thing...i.e. trust the Docs who deal with this pandemic daily...and stop taking up bed space that Non-COVID patients need.

And for you...thanks very much for participating in that trial...you did the right thing.
