The court was never the proper venue to create a law on abortIon …everyone knew it, even RBG. The SCOTUS cannot rightfully base an opinion on popularity polls or their personal beliefs. Their job is to interpret the constitution and the laws.
If people want abortion laws passed, one way or the other, they need to do it through the appropriate venue - our elected officials in each state.
Great Britain which very sadly chose a pro abortion path, did so not through its courts by edict but through the electorate body. For this reason, they have never had the raging abortion debate that has paralyzed our country for the past 49 1/2 years, and has influenced every level of our body politic.
The work begins in each state now to protect the unborn and to convince and sway hearts. There is no longer an edict from 5 liberal judges that they had no right nor power to make. It is in our hands as voters to protect the right the life of the innocent unborn for the first time in half a century. Let’s get to work.
