>Claiming that an MIT study found social distancing to be "B.S." and that masks were worthless, when in fact their whole paper dealt with establishing time limit parameters for indoor gatherings...the whole reason they took on the study was to show that the "6 Foot Rule", while very helpful for protection against "jets" of large sized, virus-laden droplets from coughs, singing, etc...it is "INADEQUATE" due to the even more important circumstance of suspended small-sized airborne droplets...for which the authors, btw, repeatedly encouraged the use of masks along with their "Cumulative Exposure Time" (CET) algorithm for maximum time allowed in a room. Their contribution was in 'Addition' to the '6 Foot Rule', not a refutation of it.
