the real answer is, DeSantis used the innocent and temporarily legal resident immigrants as pawns in a political ploy to animate the MAGA base in favor of him versus Abbott for the 2024 election.

Compassionate Americans are appalled by such behavior, and this 'wacked out, Stephen Miller play' could come back to haunt him, given that he used FLA state funds to lure immigrants out of Texas for this caper...suits are being prepared against him as we speak...

Still, you have presented no credible reason for DeSantis to not have alerted anyone on Martha's Vineyard that 50 immigrants would be arriving there...he went through all the trouble of arranging the flights...why couldn't he pick up the phone and at least called someone there?...do those legally present in the U.S. immigrants not deserve such consideration?
