Perhaps you are having problems with my definition of "expect." I thought (predicted) that we would get beat up by USC.
I expect that our 3 and 4 year offensive line starters can handle a 3 man rush.
I expect that we don't miss tackle after tackle after tackle.
I expect that either our players or our scheme is good enough to keep a true freshman from looking like Joe Montana.
I expect that we would use all of our timeouts instead of running out of time.
I expect all of our defensive players to run to the ball.
I expect that CW would put the ball in the hands of his best players with the game on the line (rather than a 4th string WR).
I expect that CW wouldn't completely abandon a run game that was working, turning us into a one-dimensional football team.
I would expect that with 3 scholarship kickers on the team, that one of them could be trusted to kick a 43 yard FG.
We failed to meet all of these expectations. You mentioned earlier that I should watch the games. Well, I happened to watch this one and I saw a lot of problems that I think it is fair to be critical of. The fact that my score prediction didn't match the actual game score is irrelevant.
