Don't you realize that usually after the first round of games the teams are all capable of knocking each other off, and sometimes in the first round too. See Michigan State this year. Actually getting to the round of eight is a good accomplishment. And we gave North Carolina as good a battle as we were realistically capable of. Recruiting is the issue, but once the NBA started grabbing stars after one and done, we were done getting the very top recruits. That is why our women's program is so successful, no real incentive to jump to WNBA so the girls think of getting their degrees first at all schools, and our degree means more.
