theory is that they have not gotten used to the speed of game and it is feeding upon itself as the more they struggle the more they force the play. It builds upon itself. You will see improvement by leaps and bounds next year. I don't know what Gibbs' problem is for sure, but I suspect it could be he is forcing too much since he knows at he has to carry so much of the load. He had improved a ton from freshman to sophomore year so I don't know what happened.
But once they miss it seems they lose confidence and are not ready to shoot when the shot is there. They tried to adjust by going to the hoop more in the second half but then Virginia adjusted and made a few and we were in the same rut. It is so mental, but they will grow and maybe together.
